Job Title: Subcontract Administrator Engineer – E & I
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job type / Contract: Temporary, 27 Months , Yearly extendable Contract
Hours/rotation: 60 Hrs/Week, Sunday off – 60 Days (ON)-15 Days (OFF)- 2 Days (Travel)
Job Summary / Role Description
- The Subcontracts Administration Engineer (E&I) contributes to the entering, in the specific Data Base, the works performed by Subcontractors and for detecting, both before and after, any deviation from budget values.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To contribute to the preparation of the Subcontractor’s accounts in accordance with the subcontract;
- To check that the accounts prepared by the Subcontractor are in line with contractual clauses, with Project documents and have been approved by the Discipline Supervisors;
- To analyse and check that all accounting documents have been duly approved and are accompanied where necessary by explanatory drawings and sketches;
- To collect estimated quantities to completion and prepare the cost control tabulations.
Knowledge & Qualifications
- University Degree in relevant discipline
Experience:
- Experience in the oil and gas industry
- Experience in Gas Plants and EPC Projects
- Essential a significant (5 years) experience in a similar position
Skills and Abilities:
- Fluent English
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Team-oriented skills, self-motivation and direction, with strong bias toward timely performance and problem resolution.
