This is to inform all fresh and returning students of Federal University, Dutsin-Ma that the management of the institution has will be holding an emergency meeting on Monday 17th October, 2022 as a result of the suspension of the ASUU strike embarked upon by all ASUU members.

The resumption date 2022 for fresh and returning students, FUDMA Resumption Date 2022/2023 shall be announced thereafter.

FUDMA Resumption Date 2022/2023

According to the management, both fresh and returning students for are to resume for the continuation of the previous academic session that was put on halt due to the ASUU strike by university lecturers of various higher institutions.

Due to the disagreement between ASUU and the Federal government owing to failure of the FG to sign the 2009 agreement, university lecturers under ASUU went on strike since 14th February, 2022. Due to the lackadaisical attitude from the FG and the strong will of ASUU, the strike lingered until 14th October when it was called off as a result of the intervention of the speaker of the house of representative.

The academic activities for the 2022/2023 academic session has been designed to run for a period of 4 months approximately. All academic and non-academic activities have been scheduled to take place within the 4 months period.

The management of FUDMA shall the new resumption date for fresh and returning students for continuation of the academic activities on the 17th October, 2022.

Alternatively, political games that trieve with physical cash may have been done a big blow, giving room for freer and fair election as people’s conscience would measured into monetary value.

Earlier yesterday, the finance minister had denied being aware of the economic consequences of the policy, and had indirectly pushed the questioning and probation to the senate. Her statement goes thus:

Distinguished senators , we were not consulted at the Ministry of Finance by CBN on the planned Naira redesigning and cannot comment on it as regards merits or otherwise.

“However as a Nigerian privileged to be at the top of Nigeria’s fiscal management , the policy as rolled out at this time , portends serious consequences on value of Naira to other foreign currencies.

“I will however appeal to this committee to invite the CBN governor for required explanations as regards merits of the planned policy and rightness or otherwise of its implementation now.

This is to inform all fresh and returning students of University of Jos that the management of the institution has announced the resumption date for fresh and returning students, UNIJOS Resumption Date 2022/2023, via the recently published academic calendar for the academic session.

According to the management, returning students are to resume exactly two weeks after the resumption of fresh students. This is the norm practiced in most schools. This would give fresh students the needed time to bond register with ease knowing-fully that they (fresh students) are still new to the system.
